There is an expectation that all our children will continue with their learning at home and teachers will keep in contact with families to offer support.

Teachers will contact pupils on a weekly basis to ensure they are keeping up with their learning at home and to answer any questions about the work they may have.

Pupils will be provided with two exercise books in which to complete all their learning.

  • Details will be uploaded onto your child's class website page by 5pm for following day’s learning but will include:

  • Each child will bring home two books from the school library- every day the children should read for 20 minutes

  • All Year 6 pupils will be provided with a set of CGP workbooks.

  • Children will need to complete one piece of writing each day

  • Children will need to complete one Spelling, Punctuation or Grammar exercise each day

  • Children will need to complete one piece of handwriting exercise each day

  • Children will need to complete 1 arithmetic exercise each day and one piece of maths learning each day

Additional Tasks:

  • Pupils will have their logins for ‘Purple Mash’ and teachers will set tasks/games/challenges that are specifically related to your child’s year group

  • Students will have their overview from their History and Geography units this Spring term and can choose a unit to further research

Please check your child's work pack for the year specific learning guidelines.
