Welcome to Harris Primary Academy Merton

We believe that every child is unique and that each deserves the opportunity to be happy, feel valued and experience success. 

As a two-form entry academy, with 60 places in each year group, we aim to give our pupils a balanced, exciting and truly enjoyable education that prepares them for success in secondary school and beyond. We also have an additional resource base for a small number of children who are diagnosed with Autism. Our children are at the heart of everything we do, we all believe HPAM is their school and we put them at the centre of every decision we make.

We are part of the Harris Federation which runs two other successful secondary academies in the borough and more than 50 academies in total in and around London. We benefit from being part of this thriving community of schools. Our belief is that children thrive when they are consistently happy and safe at school and that through expert teaching and support all pupils can achieve to a high standard.

We have high expectations of ourselves, our children and the families who support them. These high expectations mean that we are always striving to improve on our previous best. We value the qualities of hard work and perseverance as much as we do excellent outcomes. We are looking for every child to achieve their personal best.
