Learning at Home
We encourage all families to support their child’s learning at home by developing simple, consistent routines. Reading together every night is one of the most effective ways to build confidence, improve comprehension, and foster a love of books.
In addition, children should complete their homework regularly, including practising their maths through Times Table Rockstars or Numbots every day. Daily practice helps strengthen fluency and recall, which are essential for success in mathematics.
If you would like to extend learning further at home, please take a look at the Looking Forward letters. These provide ideas and opportunities for children to take part in engaging learning projects linked to their current topics.
Your support makes a real difference—thank you for helping your child succeed.
