Important dates

The key dates for the Transfer to Secondary process can be found in the following table.

Please ensure that you meet the date for submitting your online application. Submitting a late application could seriously jeopardise your chances of being offered a place at one of your preferred schools.

The application process for children born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013 starts on 1 September 2023. The closing date is 31 October 2023. If you have recently moved or your circumstances have changed an on-time application can be accepted up until 12 December 2023 with supporting evidence. Applications received without an explanation or evidence will be processed as late applications and will not be considered until after all on-time applications.

​27 October 2023 Last opportunity to speak to School Admissions before the closing date.
31 October 2023 Closing date for supplementary forms for Ursuline High School.
31 October 2023 Closing date for supplementary forms for Wimbledon College.
31 October 2023 Closing date for applications. Applications received after this date will be regarded as late.
12 December 2023 Closing date for applications that have been classified as 'late for good reason'. The reason and evidence must also be included with the application.
1 March 2024 National Offer Day. Letters are posted to applicants who applied using a paper form. Parents who applied online will be able to view the outcome of their application from the evening of 1 March.
15 March 2024 Deadline for parents to respond to offers
May to June 2024 Admissions appeals.
July 2024 July 2024
