Sutton Eagles FC

Sutton Eagles FC is run by parents, but with coaching provided by qualified coaches. Children with special needs in Sutton and the surrounding area have the opportunity to play football and develop their social and physical skills.

The scheme sets out to provide children with special needs in the area with an opportunity to further improve their social and physical skills, and in doing so improve their confidence and self-esteem.

Two age groups - 5-11 years and 11-16 years.

Better Gymnastics at Canons Leisure Centre

Better Gymnastics classes offer a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children of all ages and abilities to learn and develop gymnastic skills. With use of a variety of apparatus & equipment, the lessons are structured yet varies, with children having the opportunity to achieve British Gymnastics proficiency awards. There is also the annual Better Gymnastics Competition for children aged 6yrs+.

Pay one standard fee when you join the programme to attend weekly gymnastics lessons for a block of 14 weeks. To continue with your gymnastics lessons you will need to top up your credits. "Top-Ups" may be bought at any time within the block you are attending. Remember to "Top-Up" before your last lesson commences in order to stay on the programme. We are unable to guarantee you a place for future courses beyond your last lesson.

We strongly recommend the gymnast attends a one-off trial session. Here the pupil can try the class before committing to a full 14 week course if lessons. Trial sessions need to be booked in advance at reception. We strongly recommend children of 4 years of age wishing to join a fundamental class to attend this assessments. This will ensure the pupil will be suitable to participate.

Tuesdays & Wednesdays - 4pm or 4.50pm & Saturdays 10am or 11am. Before school tasters may be available, space permitting, please contact the centre to check for availability.

Children can wear leotards, shorts, t-shirts, leggings, jogging bottoms, and will need to bring a pair of socks in case they use the trampoline. Clothing with strings, buttons, buckles or hoods are not permitted. Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery is to be removed.
